Hannah Lesser

Hannah Lesser attended Oberlin College and graduated in 2009 with a double major in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies and Visual Arts. She hails from Berkeley where she first began making videos in Berkeley High’s C.A.S (Communication Arts and Science) program and made her first 16mm film at the age of sixteen with the NJFP. The film, an autobiographical documentary, was featured as the short before the closing night film at the 2003 San Francisco Jewish Film Festival and went on to win a Golden Gate Award at the 2004 San Francisco International Film Festival.
